Sunnynook Catchment PACT

The Sunnynook Catchment PACT – which stands for People, Action, Communication and Trust – is the community recovery plan for Sunnynook, Totara Vale and Forrest Hill.

Over the past few months a group of locals have come together to run community conversations, surveys and events to hear what matters most to local people. The PACT brings all of that input together into a plan for how we can build neighbourhoods we’re proud to call home.

This simplified A3 graphic version of the plan shows the key ideas and actions that you might like to get involved in.

We’re inviting people from all walks of life to join the PACT core group – a team of locals who will turn the plan into action. The group will meet about once a month, with opportunities to get involved in specific projects that fit your time and skills. Whether you have a lot of time or just a little, there’s a place for you.

First core group meeting: Tuesday 28 October, 6.30 pm at Sunnynook Community Centre

Interested? Email [email protected]  to express your interest or ask questions.

At our first core group meeting we’ll go through the full plan together and decide on roles, responsibilities and how we want the group to work.

Together you can make Sunnynook, Totara Vale and Forrest Hill more connected, prepared, trusted and resilient.
